Join us for an unforgettable day at the Annual Garlic Flower Harvest at Valhalla! 🌸 This unique event on June 20th promises a magical blend of nature, music, and community spirit as we celebrate the solstice by harvesting fresh flower garlic amidst live tunes, a warm fire pit, and the charming ambience of our farm.

Event Highlights:

  • 🌿 Harvest Fresh Garlic Flower: Dive into the fields and enjoy the hands-on experience of picking flower garlic. It’s a fun and rewarding way to connect with the earth!
  • 🔥 Fire Pit: As evening approaches, gather around our cozy fire pit to share stories, and connect with other cool humans.
  •  Delicious Food & Drinks: After a fulfilling day, treat yourself to tasty snacks, and chilled beverages. We’ve got plenty to keep you refreshed!

Event Itinerary:

  • 9:00 AM: Welcome and Registration
  • 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Morning Harvesting Session (Volunteers & Attendees) 🌞
    • Light refreshments provided during breaks
  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM:  Lunch Break (Potluck Style Lunch, Snacks and Cold Drinks) 🥤
  • 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Afternoon Harvesting Session (Volunteers & Attendees) 🌿
  • 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Evening Relaxation
    • Gather around the fire pit, enjoy scrumptious food, and unwind with cool drinks 🍻
  • 8:00 PM onwards: Firepit hang out! 🎵🔥

Volunteer Tasks:

  • 🌱 Garlic Picking: Experience the joy of hand-picking and collecting garlic flowers.
  • 🌾 Field Maintenance: Assist in keeping the fields tidy and well-maintained.
  • 🍽️ Food and Drink Service: Lend a hand in serving food and drinks to fellow volunteers and attendees.

What to Bring For Harvesters:

  • 👢 Boots, Gloves & A Hat: Prepare for a hands-on day in the fields by bringing your boots and gloves.
